Great Room
Lake house Great Room has always been the focal point of the home with it's high ceilings and expansive wall of windows.
The Fireplace is truly the heart of our home. While building the home, this is the one area I splurged and so grateful for that decision.
Throughout the years, paint and decor have been the only updates. Builtins provide a great area of interest to display favorite accessories. Cabinets and mantle with dark wood continue to make this room very rustic for lake living.
Glow Room
Great room at christmastime
There is nothing like the Christmas Glow. Our Great Room always glows during the Holiday Seasons. Adding lights and more lights is a favorite of mine. At the John's Creek House the great room shined with colored lights and at the lake house shown above, the white lights add glimmer to the great room.
