No way I could have a website named Lake and Lime and not have a margarita recipe.

By the way, I am a beer drinker, but I have been known to have a 'rita or two, thanks, Uncle Nick!

Laundry Room

The small footprint of our laundry room did not scare me when it was time for a renovation.

Because this is the one room no one goes in, I made it mine. Plus, a minor surprise I love. Sometimes I get lucky!

Guest Bathroom

Inspiration for the kitchen remodel started in this bathroom.

Who knew the ideas would start flowing from this one item?

The item that sat, bubble wrapped in my home office for over a year, ugh.

Authentic Wood Box

Organize with simplicity.

I found this great little gem & bought it, not knowing its place in my home. After the kitchen remodel, the wood accents afforded great texture and contrast to my white kitchen.

Coffee pods are the perfect filler. Everyone can see and access the pods quickly.

The bonus is the coffee pods add a pop of color.

Brick Mold For Often Used Oils

Keep this next to my cooking range.

It holds our most often used oils and spices while cooking.

The look encompasses my aesthetic of original and different.

A bonus, the different looks of the bottles give depth and interest to this space. Double bonus it makes it look as if I can cook, nah.

Mercury Glass Bowl

Found this gorgeous mercury glass bowl at my favorite Interior Design Shop.

I bought it because it was the only thing I could afford in the store. Ha.

At the time, no idea what to do with it but loved it and knew it would find a home in my home.

Unintentionally, it became the holder for all of my remotes. The remotes that control my lights, shades and fans. Brilliant.

Baskets Add Texture

I scored these woven glass baskets at Scott's Antique Market in Atlanta.

The basket weave breaks up the wood throughout our home.

If you find an accessory you love, purchase it if it is within your budget.

Fill up a Favorite to Make it Pop

This unique shaped bowl with a metallic accent was a great find at Sugarboo because it spoke to me, ha.

Spoke to me comment is a joke, a post here to explain.

Love adding color of sorts for visual. Year 'round I use the silver. Seasons bring change to swap ball color to orange during fall or red for the holidays.

Lamp...N. GA Mtns. Semi-Personalizes

Given my love for Georgia, the mountains & Lake Lanier, many trinkets are sprinkled throughout my home.

Searching for signs, lamps and other stuffs at local antique markets adds unique elements.

Found this gem at Lakewood Antique Market in Cumming, GA.

These items semi-personalize the home, add interest, and tell a story.

Hey! Thanks for finding me.

I bet you are remodeling, redecorating, or searching for a refresh for your home. For the record, this is what I would call my side hustle. My real job is here. I am kind of a techie nerd, and I am IT for our business. However, I have always loved decorating where I live, right back to my dorm room. Nothing fancy, just put together. More about my decorating journey is here.
